Celebrating birthdays

So today is my husbands birthday and I'm doing what I can to make it a good one without having money to buy him a gift.  (Just put a bow on me!  ROTFL)  I asked him what he wanted for dinner and desert and that is why I'm doing for him.  Dessert was an easy decision for him, he loves brownies... so dark chocolate applesauce brownies it is, with Moolenium crunch ice cream on top!  :D  And then he wants turkey meatloaf and squash.  (weird to some people I'm sure... but he likes my meatloaf.!)  So I'll be busy cooking for my love later.  

I am going to also take some time to make him a card.  If I can come up with the write words to put IN it.  I really wish I had a color printer too!  I guess I could print out the outlines and the color in the image I need.  Oh boy... I gotta get busy before I run out of time... I know I'm slow at this card making part so I best get busy now!    :D

  Just a little something that jumped out at me ... I want to add an image with each blog entry, if I don't have a current piece of artwork, I'll find something else.  :D  Rawr!

Almost finished...

I've been desperately working on a project that is a gift for my oldest daughter (hence no pictures) but I'm almost done.  I lack one very vital step and I need a quick drying adhesive that dries clear but not glossy!  As soon as I get it finished and shipped I will get to share the video and pictures etc.  I really love the way it has turned out.  I'm so anxious to share it!

I am going to hate to see it leave my hands but I'm hoping she loves it as much as I do.  My other daughter is going to be highly jealous so I am going to have to make something special for her birthday this year too! 

However, now that this part is done and I'm awaiting just glue... I can get started on maybe a few other new items that I can show.  

First however, I need to get caught up on one more household chore... I have a library/exercise room that got turned back into a storage area recently due to a friend moving.  I have some stuff to put up on Freecycle, some art supplies to put up and some books to put away.  Once that is done... I'm off to creating again! 

My new goal is to keep up this blog as a sort of daily journal.... so... welcome to my world!

Starting a Blog

Okay, so today I'm starting a blog.... never thought I would be doing it but hey... why not right?  Just one more of the list of "too many things" to keep up with.

I am hoping to learn a little about this whole process and make it my main page to send people too so that I can possibly start getting somewhere with my art and jewelry.  

But now I must get back to finishing a project that should have been done back at the first of this month!  :(   More later!
