Steam punk necklace

This is the Steam punk necklace I made for my daughter for Christmas.  The little book is real leather, hand stitched signatures and antiqued and decorated.  The puzzle piece also altered to accentuate the overall look (which was one of my daughter's favorite pieces in this.)  :D  I really love the way it turned out and the photos turned out really nice too.  I am planning on making more to sell very soon since my daughter is modeling this for a steam punk magazine and is going to try to get my jewelry featured.  EEKS  Gotta get busy!!!

Lets just say... I'm not looking forward to this season.  Usually I am a lot more holiday spirit, but this year, it just isn't happening.

With that said, my doodles have suffered a bit too, but I swore a long time ago that I would post all, no matter how bad they are.  SO... judge however you see fit.  LOL

Three new doodles and Update

A quick update for those who may be watching (tho I don't think anyone does... thinking this is a waste of time, no one seems to know I exist here).  Anyways.  I've had lots more tests and still no answers.  I am going to be staying in the hospital for three days in December for brain wave monitoring ... I am hoping for some sort of explanation there.  Just wish there was something that could fix this or at least get a diagnosis.   So basically nothing has changed.   Gonna keep doodling, and gonna start making some jewelry VERY soon and maybe some larger art pieces to sell.

I finally got into my art studio to paint!

Window to the Soul

I finally got to get into my art studio and do a mixed media piece.  Was great doing something more than doodling.  This is done in my junk journal made by recycling cereal boxes, the piece consists of layers of acrylic paint, texture made of painted used dryer sheets, then a little extra touch with a metallic rub.   I had fun doing it!   Hopefully there will be more to come soon!

I also have a few doodles, mostly I was experiencing with resist techniques.
